Tabb v. Poquoson

With the Tabb baseball team losing, I wonder if the Softball team will preserve the glory of Tabb. I think they can definitely pull off a win, and hope I don't miss that game!

Prediction:

Tabb 4 Poquoson 2

Haha...that's a good one, considering Poquoson won 1-0 tonight. And if I recall correctly, they handled Gleason with no problems. Two base hits in the first three at-bats of the game. I don't know about you, but I think that says something.

Uh what game were you watching? They hit off Gleason but they one run they had wasn't even an earned run, lmfao. ugh? And they are the top team in the district.. seems to me they had a bit too much trouble.

Re: Tabb v. Poquoson

Brdsballman, it’s time to put down your THS pom-poms and smell the coffee. Tabb has had a great year all things considered. In the last two days they have lost two games by a combined total of 7-2. Last week they were a solid 5th and now they are in a struggle to make the district tournament. I think their batting line up may be the cause of their low run production. I think there is far too much distance between their power hitters. There are four girls that are consistent hitters on this team however; they are placed throughout the line up. I think they should all be brought up to the top of the line up and go for the big inning one out of three. Just an observation. P.S. If I ever go on life support I want you to guard the plug because you never give up.

Re: Tabb v. Poquoson

Felix, no offense to your opinion, but Tabb starts off with a vey hard lineup, don't expect them to loose too many more games. In my opinion they have a secure chance of making it to districts and upsetting a few teams, for them to come so close to Poquoson, and to have beaten Grafton once, shows that we need to be feared. If they had've played like they did today, against Grafton.. there would've been a win for Tabb. I have faith in the Tabb girls, and will for a few more years atleast

Re: Tabb v. Poquoson

Tabb is beyond doubt a good young team with their best ahead of them. Poquoson played well enough to win despite stranding many baserunners in scoring position. Birdy was not "on" but gutted out yet another hard fought win. The game was truly BRD softball at its best. To insinuate that Poquoson was outplayed in a game where both teams executed defensively as well as they did is insulting to both teams.
