I will e-mail a reminder each Friday, but beginning next week, I want to start compiling the area statistical leaders.

All schools in the Peninsula, Bay Rivers, Tidewater and Tri-Rivers Districts are encouraged to send in stats, along with the dozen private schools in our coverage area.

I will follow the NCAA method of ranking teams on a per-game basis. If you win 25-15, 25-14, 14-25, 25-15, that's four games.

I'm planning to compile the following stats:

Aces
Assists
Blocks
Digs
Kills

If your statistician produces a spreadsheet or stats sheet, just e-mail that to me and I can extract the information.
