hey tabb is 2-3, what do you guys all think about their playing and any mentionable players?

i think they have a pretty solid team.
their just not so much in rythm yet.
give them time.
but the quarterback#12 is pretty good.
so is the running back#20

what about #73 #82 and #57? i heard they were pretty good as well?

I am on New Kent, and personally the only player that even stood out one bit, was the quarterback.. went both ways and performed both ways.

There are two main reasons Tabb's JV is not doing so well this year:

1. Lawson brought up 5 of the best sophomores up to varsity. He basically took away most of the JV's strength and talent.

2. Tabb's JV no longer has Coach J. Purnell at head coach. He was fired last year after two years on the job and a record of 16-3-1.

And like someone said on this post earlier, they are having a hard time coming together. Losing 5 teammates after they're brought up to varsity can hurt team chemistry. However, like some of you have noticed their QB #12 in really good and has good leadership skills so Tabb should be able to still do well.

they lost an lb that they had for jv last yr to poquoson. and haithslip is playing varsity, not any others i can think of. we have lost 4 people to fulltime varsity for sophomores.

player standouts : QB just needs to keep his temper level against us he got a 15 yard penalty for throwing the ball at one of our players and ive played previously, hes better than that but it happens.
#20 who i beleive was the shorter runningback, not to demean him. he is nonetheless a good runner.
