We are pleased to announce version 2.0 of HRvarsity.com! This will be a major upgrade with the following two goals in mind: a simplified navigation and site structure, and the inclusion of Southside schools and sports.


1 - Simplified navigation and site structure. Many of you have requested an easier way to get to the specific data that you want, for example: standings, schedules, specific forums, etc. The new navigation system and site structure will address these issues. We have recognized this need and have been planning this upgrade from the beginning. I am planning to use a left-nav dropdown system and eliminate the horizontal dropdowns that are currently on the site. New pages will be created to house specific data, as well.


2 - HRvarsity.com is expanding to cover the Southside! In addition to our coverage of the Peninsula, Bay Rivers, Tidewater and Tri-Rivers districts, we will be covering the Beach, Eastern, Southeastern, Tidewater Conference and Metro Conference, as well as several private schools who are not in a formal district. We have even added a new member to our sports staff specifically for this purpose. We will introduce him to you shortly.


We hope you like the changes we are about to make and appreciate your patience as these changes are tested and implemented. And as always, we welcome your suggestions.
