Woodside's Thomas Scott hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer, stifling a Warwick comeback and leading the Wolverines (7-3, 5-1 Peninsula) to a 56-48 road victory. Scott scored 15 points and Antonio Ortega and Kevin Wiggins added 13 apiece for Woodside. Warwick (5-5, 2-4), led by Thadtiguss Lewis' 17 points, overcame a 10-point deficit to pull even in the third quarter, but Scott's shot turned the momentum back to the Wolverines. Jimmy Scott scored 15 and Daniel Bullock 12 for Warwick. Chris Burton, normally a starter for Woodside, was on the bench in street clothes. Last edited by Sonny Dearth : 01-06-2009 at 09:46 PM. |
