Girls basketball: MIDDLESEX 58, KING WILLIAM 26
Ashae Burnett and Micah Reed had double-doubles and Middlesex emptied its bench in a 58-26 victory over visiting Tidewater District rival King William. Burnett had 24 points and 10 rebounds while Reed had 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Chargers led 34-9 at halftime, and all but two players scored for Middlesex. Desiree Johnson led the Cavaliers with 10 points.
