Hello all soccer fans. I have a few minor issues to discuss with you...

1. GO CANES!

2. I had a conversation with the ref after the game against woodside. The ref said he called the first red card because of an alleged "jump" or "lunge" at the 'Cane striker. The ref said he saw the defender make a threatening move or was looking to instigate a fight. The red was NOT for taunting, which is why the "cane player did not get a card.

3. The second red was deserving simply because the play on the field was getting more violent and less soccer-like. Very simply, people were letting their emotions get the best of them.

4. Yes, woodside had many a golden opportunity to get goals, but please don't forget that the 'Canes also had quite a few misseed opportunities as well.

5. Teams should recognize that the 'Canes have been getting stronger and stronger from year to year and that they should be congratulated for their efforts to make the final spots of the playoffs a lot more interesting. No more to be taken lightly.

6. GO 'Canes!!!! Beat Warwick!

As of 20 minutes left in the Bethel-Phoebus game this evening, Bethel was two goals closer to clinching the number 6 spot. Something may have happened since that point.

Heritage player, much respect to your improving program down there. The win the other day is just another example of why nobody can take anybody too lightly. Thanks for showing some class with the win. I can think of a top 6 team that can't do that...

The first red card was for taunting... and it is a reason to give a red... you cant give a red card for a player lunging or running at someone. The coach at Woodside was also told that was the reason for the red. Either way, 9 vs 11 is hard for anyone to overcome and 2 of their starters were injured. Give respect for them scoring while down 2 men and it was a good game... Good luck to all teams next year who are out...

I did not in any way lunge at that ****ing player, i didnt instigate a fight, i didnt have anything against the kid. you dont no what you are talking bout and neither did the ref, so jump off buddy. i went over myself personally to the kid and the whole heritage team and shook every one of their hands like a man when they are defeated. So whatever the ref thinks is garbage. I yelled woo woo woo and thats it , anything else is news to me. Heritage good luck next year.

P.S. PD do some damage this year in the playoffs.
