Poquoson 1 Smithfield 0

Good game by both teams. Smithfield outplayed Poquoson, but the Bull Islanders get a late first half goal on a break away. Poquson's keeper had several great saves including one full stretch save in the final minutes. Smithfield's keeper had an equally good game. Smithfield could be dangerous if that was the best Poquoson had to offer (which I doubt).

You only had one legit shot on goal if your honest with yourself. You did hit the crossbar, once. Smithfields keeper should of had the first goal, just slid under his hand. Pretty routine for him to save. Don't know what happend. Tabb beat us 2-0, and..? We beat a Nanesmond River team that beat Tabb. Doesn't mean anything. Why don't we judge how good we are based on how many you score on Southampton or New Kent?

Re: Poquoson 1 Smithfield 0

Observer, I have to admit that Smithfield is better than they have been, but you still haven't beaten any creditable teams in BRD or anywhere else, NR is weak. Yeah you played Ptown close by the score but your team doesn't know how to set up an offense. You guys seem to run around with no purpose, no concept of the game. You won't get much respect until you beat one of the top five in BRD, thats just the way it is. You didn't even get a shot on goal against JHS and LHS until there was 10mins left in the game against the third string. Tabb played almost the entire game against you with 10 men. You've got to admit it, you don't have much. Are you trying to tell us that you actually play hard against Southampton, New Kent, Bruton, and York? Everyone else just tries to get a workout in. I guess thats why you are where you are.
