PD Gold Gloves

Even though the award does not exist in the PD, who would you pick as the best defensive player at each position???

Re: PD Gold Gloves

Not sure of his name, but Gloucester's centerfielder made one of the most spectacular catches against us. I've heard other coaches say that he does that all the time.

Re: PD Gold Gloves

joyce? the third basemen for woodside?
after watching him make numerous errors in the game against Menchville i really doubt he is up for any defensive award. The kid has a big stick when he connects, but i see him as more of a DH then a "gold glover".

Re: PD Gold Gloves

Ellington for Warwick gets a lot of attention for his bat, which is obviously deserved, but he plays third as well as anyone I've seen this year.

in the future, you'll be hearing about the SS from Kecoughtan. He has great range, but still young. Once he fills out a little bit, and his arm gets stronger, he make will make some espy plays.

Re: PD Gold Gloves

I second the vote for Ellington. He has made some great plays in the field and looks like he is only getting better.
